Question about Predator U7193

Post by ddavis »

Hi, I recently got a Predator U7193 for my 2003 Yukon denali. I have been doing my research and hearing all these bad stories about electronics interfering with the tuning process. I plan to tune it today, so far, I am going to pull the radio, factory amp, onstar, and all of the cigarette lighter fuses, additionally I will turn off the a/c and interior lights.
My question is, I have a custom sound system with the power wire from the battery going to the amp with the inline fuse attached, should I disconnect this from the battery? is it needed? Thanks for the help!
