Busted! Service found watermark!SMH

2013 Dodge Charger R/T. Needed to take in to get serviced. Replaced original backup, so I thought. At least it said I was successful. Service later called and asked if knew there was a Diablosport Tune on the car? What did I miss or do wrong? Still under warranty, so I dont want to mess this up.

They cant see a watermark...sure they weren't just looking to get you to admit it?

What does the device show for options/show last tune written?

Not sure what would give them an idea to ask. There was nothing in the car that would of brought up any suspicion. I have already downloaded a new tune so I dont know what it showed as last recorded tune after I installed original back up.

I acted dumb like I had no idea what they were talking about and it didnt come up again. Still not sure how they knew. I cant imagine they just randomly ask everybody. Plus I was getting service not warranty work so they had no reason to incriminate.

I was told by a tech at the Dodge dealership that even if you return it to stock they can tell if you had a programmer installed. Whether that's true or not I don't know.

They know we don't buy these cars to just "tool around in" we want performance and we are going to get it. They were fishing, wise move playing dumb. Same thing i would do. You sure they didn't see the suction cup windshield mount mark on the glass? The diablo tuners use a rather large suction cup, bigger than GPS or radar detector. Plus he probably has one on his car lol.
