vin entry failed need help !!
Hooked up my itune on my 04 SRT 4 and got this message . Vin entry failed please have a dealer program Vin. Need help!

That means exactly what it says. the tool is telling you it was unable to see the vin but was able to communicate with the pcm. The tool will not proceed unless the pcm is programed with a vin number.
You will need to get the vin number checked before proceeding. If your dealership doesn't want to help you we might be able to. You might be able to send the computer to us with your vin to ensure it is programed correctly.
