i have the predator and installed the DS downloader to upload some new tunes but cannot find the device

on windows 7
Drivers installed properly
when connect the usb it recognizes it on com3
DS downloader keep looking for device and never get connected

tried on another laptop same brand same model but it has windows xp and ds downloader connected good with no problems

any sugestions?

check device manager and see what it says about the driver.

on device manager says its installed properly no problems with the drivers at all

might be a language issue?

when you 2x click on the driver there it says it is working properly?

could be a bad cable...

it works on my wifes xp laptop with that cable but will try another cable later

Are your baud rates the same in the driver, and on your tool? I have mine set to 115200 on both.

For the driver rate, the setting is in the port settings tab in properties for the driver in device manager. On your tool, you access the baud rate in Options on the main menu, and under serial baud.

what predator and what version on the tool?

change the language on the pc to English
