PCM Write Failure (-53)

Sometimes when I try to write a custom tune that I get from my tuner, it fails to write with PCM write failure (-53).
I always try to write it again but it always fails so I end up having to restore my original backup and start over again.

I'm just wondering, what does this error mean?
How come only some of the tunes I get from my tuner throw this error?

will it load canned tunes properly?

Yup, and it loads most of his tunes fine as well.
Just every once in a while, a modified tune that he gives me fails with that error message.

What does it mean?

Id guess there is an issue with that tune file specifically....

My tuner tells me that it might be the Trinity going bad.
Does anyone know what this error (-53) actually means.
If it's just a bad cable or something, that's easier to replace than my Trinity, which I'm sure it out of warranty.

if it only happens with specific files, its likely related to those files.

I've never had it happen during a backup, restore or 93 canned tune.
Johan (diablotoona) is my tuner and he said the tune files are fine.
I think he works for DiabloSport?
