Trinity issue
Hi there we have a customer that has the Trinity and it keeps killing his battery whenever he turns his vehicle off the trinity stays on and kills his battery is there some way to make it turn off when he turns off the vehicle without taking it out

options/change sleep monitor, and set it to 0 seconds

unplug it from the obd port, easy...
or set the timer to the highest setting, which is 60 seconds I believe..

seriously that's it a little rediculas not the answer I was expecting not impressed

as I also mentioned, set the timer to the HIGHEST setting, 60 seconds.. not 0..
yes it will still draw power, but it will not poll the ecm for activity as often, so it should not kill the battery like it currently does on the faster/more often setting of 0..
you need to set it to the highest/longest setting if it's going to be kept plugged in all the time.. or you simply need to disconnect it if it's still draining the battery.. those are the two options/choices you have... as I previously stated..

0 is not faster, 0 disables the time based setting and monitors voltage, so it wont come back up until voltage comes up, ie, when the alternator is running.

ok.. so then as my first reply mentioned, even though apparently that answer wasn't liked - it's the only choice left - simply disconnect it from the obd port.. unplug it if it's still draining the battery...
