U7140 Performance Tune Octane

Hi The options in my Predator are 87, 91 and Performance Tunes.
Do you use 93 octane with the performance tune? And if so would using 91 be dangerous? (say if I cant find 93?)

Yo 'Bearintown'...you really need to read the "Sticky" at the top of the forum. Post Subject: Vehicle & Predator info. MUST be included in post.
Also, plug your predator in your OBDII and look around. You can at times found the answer to your current and future questions. Need some prove, just look at some of my posts...LOL

Car is 2005 Mustang GT stock.
Looking around the forum Performance tune needs 93 right?

Anyone any advice on pros and cons of performance tune against 91 i.e how sigificant are the gains set against extra fuel costs and possible loss of MPG?

Yes, the Performance tune is designed for use with 93 octane.
Use of 91 octane with this tune will lead to possible detonation, and should be avoided.
