EGR???

RE: EGR???
It helps control spark knock. But there is some benefit to turning it off. The EGR valve contributes to all the soot build up on the throttle plate and intake valve. Stopping the soot build up means you won't need the throttle plate cleaned and fuel injector cleaner when the engine reaches high mileage. But your engine will run hotter during lean conditions (ie cruising). And that is bad.
Some people say they feel a difference with it off some say they dont. I havent done any Dyno testing yet with it on or off to see any gains but will do so this week and will post my findings.
