Hi,
my tool has been used on my V6 before now purchased V8 and in options show last tune written Original backup then I hit continue and say VIN from the previous V6 so what I should do to reset the tool to use on my new V8 car ?

you have to restore the stock tune to the V6 before you can use the tool on another vehicle.

V6 has been restored to original backup

it would seem thats not the case, what does the tool show under options/show last tune written?

the vin indicates it is married, let it restore to the car to unlock it.

How? V6 it is sold, can I do this on my new car ?
