Try adding a bit of line pressure at part throttle.

No dice Mike, I tried the part throttle pressure at 5% and 10%. The slip is still there. Its like when it finally gets to the point that it will shilft it's a nice solid shift. The slippage is annoying. I also tried different tm settings with the first two parameters. The slipping is not their with the stock tune and it wasn't a problem on the bully dog that I had on the truck before. Is their a way to use the 87 tune but keep my tranny settings stock????? appreciate all the help.

This is odd.
Maybe you should email me a copy of your stock tune so I can take a look at it.

You know, now that I see there was a bully dog there....I wonder if it is causing the issue.
I ahve seen lots of times where someone removes a bully dog and goes to another tuner and has similar issues.
I'm pretty sure that their tool may be leaving a footprint in the PCM...

How could it be leaving a footprint on the vehicle? When I return my truck to stock it doesn't have ANY transmission issues. It ONLY has transmission slip when this predator's tune is installed. The gentlemen with the escalade never said anything about having a previous tuner installed. (unless I've missed something). I need track down the cable and power supply so that I can get u a copy of my program. In doing a search I've seen previous post of these predators affecting the way gm vehicles shift. The bully dog did nothing to the tranny on the 87 tune. The vehicle shifted as smooth as stock. I like the predator because a lot of the added parameters but I've gotta get this slip issue worked out. If I have someone in the vehicle with me they think that the vehicle has tranny issues. Mike, check the post named two questions he's having same exact trouble that i'm having on my truck. 2003 denali 6.0 and 2005 6.0 escalade. I'm awd and I don't know about him. I'm really afraid to spend more money on the cable because im afraid that I won't be able to get rid of this problem.

We sell the cables for pretty cheap, part number U7778 for USB to serial and the power supply.
I dont think its an AWD issue, but anything is possible.
The shift related issues you have seen here are the complete opposite of what you are experiencing, as they generally shift too hard...

As to why I feel the BullyDog may have left a footprint....lets just say I have been around for a while, and have seen alot of stuff like this with their products.

Yep, thats mine... ALL stock 6.0 with the slip from 1st to 2nd. No other programmer ever installed, or any other mod for that matter. I was told to try the TM settings (torque upshift - to be exact)

Okay Mike I have the cables that I need to send you my program. I have the 87 tune in the truck right now. Do you want a copy of my back up stock tune that is in the unit now or do you want me to return truck to stock and send you the 87 tune. Thanks for the help.

yes, it's normal... you can't open and view the tune files... only they can do it with their CMR tuning software...
