so every month i run 1-3 logs just to see whats going on under my cars hood. Normally its decent maybe a 1-2 st knock but i mean hemi what do i expect. i decided today to run my monthly check before i park it and i get some st knocks up to 6 degrees and even some 1-2 lt knocks.

car is 2011 srt8 and i only have a cai. the tune and a new clutch.
im putting in chevron 94 octane. so im not too sure whats going on.

problem happens around 3500 rpm and caries/varies to 5000-5500. just knocks everywhere in that range. but the lower range. never seen a single knock.

another thing i have noticed is my car does seem slower on a 93 tune so i run on a 91. should i be running leaner fuel since i live in mountain range?

lastly at idle sometimes falls randomly. saves itself but it idles around 600 but it just falls 100 rpm then catches itself. kind of a rough idle but never stalled and seems to be running good. i was thinking maybe dirty fuel lines filter etc but then again i dont know if i trust that fuel system cleaner and its not like i can get a fuel filter. for cheap

the tune cant change, so, if you develop knock you either got some bad gas or need a catch can, or something else changed...on the vehicle.

thanks mr mikel. was wondering if there was a thread or somthing that teaches how to tune out the wot, f/a etc,

i find its like you buy the tuner and then theres no guideline lol. is there a page for dummies such as myself?

second question. wheel spin could show up as knock??

You consider oil vapour via vent system could lead to knock ?
