In the right thread this time so will keep this short

Post by HEMIxFEVER »

Well got my intune before thanksgiving and had issues trying to write to pcm (cal update) which caused no starting and i tried many of things, so i called today and was told to send the stuff in. So will be doing that tomorrow during my lunch lucky for me my boss deals with ups, and we have boxes laying around.

I went from cant wait to run it to cant wait to sell it

For those that got the pcm back how did yall instill it (i know plug it back in) but did you drive it stock for awhile, or go right into tuning.)

Also the customer service is pretty good in my book, just wish yall were open on Saturday

I am hoping i dont have to worry about this issue once its fixed. Just flash and go as i please.

plug the tool into a pc and load the attached file to the i2 drive.

then, go to the truck, plug it in, and click NO on the recovery and let it go to the main menu, from there, it should import the file you loaded at the PC and update itself.

Once thats done, reboot the tool, and let it try the recovery process again, it should be able to restore the stock tune and recover the vehicle.

Thanks

Got a question it says under advance tuning>the first one what is the dialbo tune?

And how do i tell what tune i am running i tried to adjust the throttle % how do I know what tune it used, then i tried flashing the 93 tune again and failed but i had a back up tune and trying it again now it says please wait..

So I went to advance and flashed the 91 tune like nothing may drop it to 89 it feels like its down on top end some or its holding gears longer idk what's going on there

Is there any major difference between 93 and 91 tunes?

Just tried flashing the 93 tune and it worked.

Here is what i am talking about in my post above this one
Image

Also what does the tow tune do/change

Sorry for the questions and hard to follow post, as time goes on i am figuring stuff out.

diablo tune is the 93 octane tune. Difference between 91 and 93 is a few degrees of timing at WOT.

Thanks
