U7160 data viewer problems

i tried loading a saved log to the laptop from the predator, and when opening the log file, the message "AN UNSUPPORTED OPERATION WAS ATTEMPTED". by clicking the OK in the dialog box, it only keeps popping up, but if you pay attention to the back of it where the numerical data is posted, they will change one value t a time. while this box is showing, i can do nothing but close the program thru the computer's task manager function.

any solutions?

The U7160 is not supported by the new dataviewer, as that tool is out of date, and out of production for years.
(word of advice...do not let Ford reflash the truck ever, or this tool will no longer work).
You may want to try the CMR DAT program.

the CMR viewer you are talking about, should be the one listed under the downloads section for part number U7160 correct? if so, that is the program with the problem i am having. and if that is the case, i saw a thread for exchanging this part for the updated version for $100 plus shipping or something like that? is that still an option? thanks

Yes, you can send this tool in and for $100+shipping we will update it to the U7165.
I would post in the dataviewer section to see if our windows guy can help with the dataviewer issues, but he did not create the old CMR_DAT program, and has had a tough time figuring out how it works.
The current plan is to have all tools supported by the new Dataviewer software.
