Server Reported an error when selecting Calibration Updater

Just got my tuner yesterday, and it required a calibration update. However when I select the Calibration Updater it will initialize and then an error is displayed " The server reported an error, Please contact Diablo Sport or try again later". There are no firewalls on this laptop or AV software, its running Windows XP. I have tried several times but the same message is given. Connections are fine.

my car info is below:

2007 Charger R/T
Purchased in West Palm Beach in 2/07
The calid displayed on the tuner is 05094804AJ
Car was recently updated over a week ago from the dealer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated from this ex-SuperChips user. thx

Windows XP SP2 does enable the built-in firewall by default without telling you. There are instructions on how to check this within the DS Downloader help file.

There is a chance that your calibration ID is brand new and not yet supported, but the message from the server would have additional information to indicate that.

There is a way for us to send you the update via email for a local install. Unfortunately, if this is the case, this is something that will have to be looked into on Monday.

Johnc,

Thanks for the reply. I did double check XP's firewall setting for my connections and the firewall is turned off. If email is an option, no problem. Just kinda bummed out that it I won't be able to play around with the tuner this weekend. was looking forward to it

That calibration is a new calid and was released after our last revision. There will be an update available very shortly to support it.

Thanks for posting r19, but..... i was trying to run the calibration updater and still received an error. This time it was different. It provided a code (3) asking to make sure I was connected to the internet. I had no problems hitting any websites or downoading the latest crom during this time. I called tech support and they instructed me to load r19 to the tuner first and then try again. The tune loaded no problem but I was still getting the error even after powering down and starting the unit. I decided to try and tune the car and I did not receive a message that I needed an update and it allowed me to tune for 93 CAI no problems. I guess my question is do I have the proper calibration file for r19 or am I good to go..thanks for your help.

Johan,

I went ahead and installed the 93 w/ CAI and so far so good. The only thing I can comment on is when I brake somewhat aggresivley and the car downshifts through all the gears i've noticed a shake that was not there before. I can go back and reset to stock to check but other than that I am happy that I'm finally using the product. thx
