My 2000 camaro will not shift into four when I'm at wot. I went in the diablosport and tried to change the shift mph but it will not let me change the 3rd to 4th mph. It will let me change 1st too 2nd and 2nd too 3rd. But 3rd too 4th will not come down off 160mph. Also I can't set my reve limit, it will not do anything when I go into that setting.

My 96 started to do that when the trans went. Hope your have better luck, that's why I would never play with trans settings ever again, it went in less than 2000 miles when I did that with a hypertech.

your 3rd to 4th shift mph got stuck on 160mph on your diablo when your trans went? so if I get a new transmission that will fix my diablo and make me able to adjust the 3rd to 4th shift mph? is that what you ment?

No, I meant I played with shifting pressures and the like and it blew the trans, so I'd never use any pressure adjustments ever again.

I don't know what your problem is.

I thought the A4 didn't shift into 4th at open throttle by design.

I'll have to edit this reply; I've never gone fast enough to have my 4L60E shift into 4th at open throttle. I would think that would have to be in excess of 130 mph or so.

The PCM does not use the MPH based shift setting in the 3-4 shift, which is why it is maxed out at 160mph.
You can try changing it in the 3-4 shift RPM parameter, but it does not sound like a tune issue....sounds more like your tranny is hurt.

Thanks

did you lower it?
If not, that is not the issue.
Do you get any trouble codes for the tranny?
