WHAT IS THE FAN-ON TO FAN-OFF TEMPERATURE SPREAD

Post by DESIRAY »

I have been running the #4128 / 180*F t-stat for about a year with a manual/automatic thermoswitch-modded fan control. The engine runs 185-186*F all day long.

Now that I've installed the Predator 93 CAI tune and have the ability to set the various "fan on" temperatures I'd like to set the low speed fan-on temperatures at a level equal to [a couple of degrees + the fan-on/fan-off differential] above 185*F so that the fan(s) aren't running at all when the t-stat has the temperature hovering around 185*F.

What is the temperature spread between when the low speed fan is turned on and when it is turned off?

I believe the temp drop was 10* across the board.
