stang with revolution chip

Post by lost_one »

Iv'e got an EEC-IV Mustang with a Revolution chip.

Is it possible for a Revolution chip to be bad/damaged or anything to be wrong with the tune to cause 1 cylinder not to fire an injector past a certain RPM or throttle position?

Is it RPM or throttle position that causes the EEC-IV system to switch from sequential to batch fire?

Do you know that RPM/throttle position?

Thanks.

Sounds like you have an ignition issue. You may not have enough spark energy to jump the plug gap under certain circumstances and one cylinder is missing. Plug gap or defective components can cause ignition misfire. Shutting down one injector at a certain rpm/tp point is not possible with what we give you in the software.
