cruise surge with 7130
with any tune loaded my cruise surges when you coast. if there is a load against the motor(i.e., climbing a hill) its fine, but as soon as the throttle backs off to hold the set speed it surges. does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for it?

RE: cruise surge with 7130
Mine actaully cruises quite smoothly, once in awhile I feel a little hickup but nothing annoying. Although the few times I have used it I have had it set going quite fast. 80mph or better. I did run it today going more like 65 and it was fine.

RE: cruise surge with 7130
This is completely normal and is a factory issue. It is more noticeable on coasting down large hills. The torque convertor is coming in and out of lockout. There is no fix that i am aware of, and i keep checking with my dealership.

i'm guessing you didn't look at my sig to see what i had in truck. i have a 6 spd, not an auto. thanks for the info though.dray wrote:This is completely normal and is a factory issue.
