cold air intake

Post by morpower »

is a cold air intake worth the money. I plan on getting the i2030 tuner. i have a 2013 gmc 1500 sierra. I've been reading mixed reviews on getting a cai. Some input would be great.
Thank you in advance.

they do help with throttle response, acceleration, etc...

I am an authorized dealer for one of the best cold air intakes there is out there, by Cold Air Inductions, Inc. They have enclosed, insulated air boxes to keep out engine bay heat, ceramic coated intake tubes to reduce/eliminate heat soak, etc. You can check it out here http://cai.diablewtune.com and just select your vehicle from the drop-down list to get the info/details about the model for your vehicle. You can also click on the picture to get a popup of additional pictures of it that you can go through.

I have used their intakes for 9+ years on my own vehicles, and their build quality is 2nd to none.. their products always fit like a glove, and it's not cheap plastic stuff like others are... Like them so much, that I decided to become a dealer for them a few years ago. A few Christmases ago I got one for my stepson for his 2012 Sierra... he was surprised at the difference it made in throttle response, acceleration, etc.. came back from his test run with a big smile on his face hahaha...

I also sell the inTune and I also offer a package deal that includes my custom tuning at a discount so you'd save some $$. ;)

You can find info about it, as well as links to my Package Deals, Testimonials, Pricing, purchasing/ordering, etc. on my site here: http://www.diablewtune.com/package_deals.html

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at them. I also like that they are from Michigan my home state.
I'm guessing the cai and the tune should really bring the truck to life.
Which would you do first? It is alot of $$$$ for both. Were is the best money spent first.

you will get more gains/better drivability with the inTune & custom tune..

I do give free tune updates for 1 year with my service as well.. so when you add the CAI a little later down the road, I can always update the tune for you as needed, at no extra cost, as long as it's within 1 year..
