So I had a 2011 sierra 5.3L and had it tuned for over a year with the same unit. Traded that truck in for a 2014 Silverado 5.3L.
I updated the tuner and then went to install. Initial startup stopped at about 67% and a Failed message popped up.
Unplugged it and then plugged it back in. Initial startup worked. Installed the modified stock and firm shift tune (Has a full tank of regular from the dealership)
After that the truck wouldn't turn over at all. It had power as the dash and deck would start up and the battery gauge was reading 12V+.
I'm afraid to mess with it myself cause I've read of these things going into recovery mode and being a real F*** around to get fixed.

Did you sort out your problems? Did tech support help? Is your truck running now?Harbinger wrote:So I had a 2011 sierra 5.3L and had it tuned for over a year with the same unit. Traded that truck in for a 2014 Silverado 5.3L.

I got very lucky and just loaded up the backup and the truck is running fine. Im starting to get angry with Diablo's tech support though. I stayed on hold for over an hour. Also didn't realize it at the time but since Im from Canada that call is going to cost me a ton of money.
Re: 2014 Silverado Wont start
Bump.
If I don't get some answers soon I am going to sell this unit and buy from another company.

Re: 2014 Silverado Wont start
so you said it restored, correct?
what is the current issue you are looking for assistance with?
If you feel the forum is not fast enough for you, I would strongly advise sending an email to support, or filling out one of the forms on our site, or calling in.
Last week being a Holiday week meant we were rather short handed, back to full speed today.
Thanks
