Mikel or anybody else that can assist.

Where is the misfire gauge in trinity ? Can i check all 8 cylinders on misfire ?

In dataviewer i do have misfire section with 2 fields under that KNK LT RETARD (deg), and KNK ST RETARD (DEG)
but i am not sure what that is ?

Trying to log all my cylinders when WOT.

Thanks,
Keegan

I am not sure that all 8 cylinder misfire pids are viewable in the tool but they are for many applications...

i know they are available for GM vehicles.. but those 2 parameters you mention are not GM parameters, so they may not be available for your particular vehicle..

I have a 2013 dodge challenger HEMI ., basically used the hemi gauge setup but added Air change and made it customized. Just not sure which gauge is misfire , if there is ?

they are not in the preloaded layouts, you will have to add them.

Mikel, yup i got that part but i just don't know which one it is to load it on the current layout i have.

I dont know what the name of the gauges are that captures misfires for all cylinders in order for me to select it .

Does that make sense ?

if it has them available for your particular vehicle at all, they would be under a MISFIRE menu, and here's what would be there:

11. Misfire
11.1. Misfire catalyst pass history
11.2. Misfire Catalyst fail history
11.3. Misfire catalyst exceedences
11.4. Misfire emission exceedences
11.5. Max misfire catalyst exceedences
11.6. Max misfire emission exceedences
11.7. Knock retard
11.8. Cylinder mode misfire threshold
11.9. Misfire delay counter
11.10. Cylinder 5 misfire counter
11.11. Cylinder 6 misfire counter
11.12. Cylinder 7 misfire counter
11.13. Cylinder 8 misfire counter
11.14. Misfire abnormal speed ratio
11.15. Misfire catalyst failure
11.16. Max misfire catalyst failure
11.17. Misfire emission failure
11.18. Max misfire emission failure
11.19. Total misfire counter
11.20. Cylinder 2 misfire counter
11.21. Cylinder 1 misfire counter
11.22. Cylinder 3 misfire counter
11.23. Cylinder 4 misfire counter

ok i got misfire section but not even close to all of these on there , and the words i have in there look more like codes instead of these description listed. I also have misc. that has some misfire stuff in there but nothing that exactly states misfire counter on cylinders.

Thank you

yeah, again, that list is what's available on GM vehicles.. and what they're called for GM vehicles..

I'm a GM guy and only deal with GM vehicles, so, yeah.. LOL

no idea what would be available for yours or what they are called for yours...
