Im having this same issue!!!!!!!!!
It ask me for a password but i have the u7198 99-03 gm
Ive tried everything
I need the password since it worked for him!!
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Issue:
I tried to reflash my Procharger tune with a new one. Once I got screen saying \"writing vehicle\" it stopped writing right on 0% and from then I got only option to restore my original backup, which I tried, but it\'s the same story. Always getting an error when it is trying to write (again at 0%). My dashboard now has only ------ on odometer and car even crank. Let me say that I did use reflash successfully at least 30 times before and only once I had this issue 3 years ago. At that time it was a week battery, but now I have a new one, si it can\'t be. I even put charger on the battery while I was trying this again and again. So I think, my only option is to FORCE original backup where I need a password from Diablosport. And here is my problem. I\'m in the Central Europe now, tried to call your tech support and was like over an hour on hold. As I'm calling from Europe this is pretty expensive and I can hold as long as local guys that has free calls. Vic from tech support really tried to help me (and I thank him), but he was overloaded with calls. Is there any other option I can use ? Like send an email with the code from predator and you will send me password back ? Or ? Please help me.))))))

Im not following, what vehicle do you have and what is your issue?

U7198 i have a 2002 chevy silverado
I had this tune in my old truck before i sold it.. I did the whole factory rest thing so it would be unlocked for me to use... And yes i did it correctly anyways i put it in my new truck to start the tune and my son pulled it out mid install and now my truck wont start nor turn over i changed out all the fuses threw a yellow top in there and swaped starters and all.. The code read my 02 sensor and mass air flow sensor witch were always there and now it added something about the ecm .. But the predator reads that i have installed the diablo but doesnt want to restore it unless i force it and i askes for a password?? Can you help me out here???

I saw you helped him out with the password .. I hope you can help me too.. I had to bus it to work twice already and i work grave so it sucks!!

when yo uplug it into the truck is the tool not in recovery mode where it prompts you to restore the stock tune?

No i rebooted its self and goes to normal main menu.. It sayd the tune was installed but it couldnt be because it was at a good 30 percent before my son pulled it out (hes only 4yr) he didnt know any better... But now it wont start or anything. I dont get it .. I wanted to factory clear the whole thing and start all over again and pray it works.

what is the software version on the top line of the main menu of the predator?

It says v.9r18

give us a call with the tool powered up inthe truck and we'll try forcing the backup.

The reboot thing didnt work

Now it say the last tune did not finish. The original will be restored and then fails and ask to be forced password..

They're closed til Monday morning 9am eastern time..
