Question about versions ...

I have a Predator that i got it last weekend so i uploaded the 93 oct. w/cai tune in it an thats it so my question is that since i wont be doing any data logging or things like that would any versions like for example the most current make ANY difference in performance ? I'm still on R14 ....... car is a 06 SRT8 Charger. TIA

Other may disagree with me, but in my opinion, if you aren't gonna be doing any logging, then perhaps you shouldn't be modding a car.

When modding you ABSOLUTELY need to know whats going on.

The newer revision have revised, updated tunes, it won;t hurt to use them.

I'm not a tuner so logging isnt important for me ...... i usually have my cars dyno tuned an they (the tuners) do all the logging an i spend the money . I do check what mods will affect drivability an if they will i wont put it on til i have it on the dyno or have someone change the things they need to changed . At my POINT right now with just an intake an predator logging isn't needed i think . RIGHT? Ur correct though that if u continue to mod (heads,exhaust an whatever else) u will need logging but i dont think i do at the moment .

No you will be fine without logging with those mods.

Again, I don't really agree with that. Had I not been logging since we were able to, I'd have had no idea that I was getting KR with just a tune and CAI. To some people KR may not be a big deal. To me, coming from a forced induction background, it MUST be eliminated at all costs. Knock kills pistons, Knock retard kills power. I will not stand for either one.
