loaded r20 into car last night went for ride this morning and the following things hsappened:
1. car went into limp mode, turnrd car off and reststarted and was fine for about 200 yards, than back to limp mode. This went on for about 5 miles until I got home.
2. ESP was disabled under quick adjust, however when driving the esp light and anti-lock brake light went out for about 1/4 mile than came back on.
3. CEL caqme on. No codes appeared in the tuner but clearing trouble codes option did turn off the light.
I called and talked to christy and was told that the esp disable function might have caused all of this, does that sound correct ? I did not have these problems with r18 or r19 but apparently cannot go back to them ? Itried but it says I need a calibration update but I get the same server error that I got two days ago when going to r19. Can I go back ?

Did you do a calibration update on r19 when you first loaded it?
If so, you can go back to r19 after restoring the original backup to the car, but r18 will not recognize the new calid.
Thanks

okay, so i have a magnum 5.7. i ran the calibrator update to allow me to do so, what happens if i want to go back to a load pre-r19? When i try to flash back to r18 or before I get the calibration needed, but when I try to run the update from the DSdownloader it gives an error:
The server reported an error. Please contact DiabloSport or try again later..........
thanks.

you cannot go back any further than r19 now. I wish I would have known that I would have stayed with 18

yeah..i put 20 on and kept getting BAS and Mr. Squiggles before even stepping on it. i restarted a few times and it continued to happen, so i put 19 on. 19 is okay, but nothing like 16a.

yes 16a was also my favorite. I still have my original backup from before the update but do not know if I can reload it.

I'm new to this forum and I have seen many posts where people would like to have the throttle response of the 16a tune or be able to get back to it. I did not have an opportunity to use that version but based on the threads that are being thrown out there on various forums perhaps diablo sport could reconsider. I kinda bummed out that I did not have a chance to use it myself, but if it were available again I would certainly give it a spin.

Count me in on the 16a tune. Sounds to me that I may be able to load it. "07 5.7 Magnum

Bob ..thanks for offering the previous version(16a). sometime ago I went ahead and downloded previous versions before my tuner was shipped to me but I started with 19r because my car was recently flashed by the dearership when I had it in for service a couple of weeks ago. I was hoping to try some of the earlier versions based on several threads i've read. If sending it in was an option I would have done that.
