2003 Focus SVT (U7144)

Bought a used predator U7144 for my focus. Pulled both fuses and plugged it in. Went to "Performance Tune" and it said it couldn't write it because there was already a tune on there.

Does this mean it is still married to the car before or do I already have an actual performance tune?

believe it was v9r05 when I checked that and it said last tune written was the original backup. I looked under VIN and it matched to my car, but I imagine it was just reading it from my cars computer. I also went to reflash the "original backup" when performance tune didn't work but it then said that the original tune was already on the car and couldn't rewrite original back up.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

what was the exact error?
If it treid to read your backup and said it was already tuned, a dealer reflash will be required.

It just said it couldn't write over an existing tune, so I suppose it was already tuned. Thanks for the help!
