Ok Diablosport team,
I think you need to update your instructions for us Windows Vista users.
If I go to device manager in Vista, there is no listings got either COM or LPT ports on my computer.
And when I do click on something connected to a USB port, there is no setting to change the "baud rate" per your instructions...........
WTF do I do now???????????

Just plug in your new USB to data cable and let vist fing the drivers and down load them on your computor. All will be well. Do not intsall the dist that came with your cable!!
RE: Windows Vista SUCK
You can go under tools and add legacy for COM and LPT however this is hit/miss. The best thing to do is go the Radio Shack and buy one of their cables and it's a piece of cake from there. I run 64 and it even worked first try with it.
Re: Windows Vista SUCK
Do you have a USB-to-Serial cable? If so, did you install the drivers that came with the cable before plugging it in? If not, what what is it you are trying to do?harrylewis01 wrote:Ok Diablosport team,

Yeah, I actually went through 3 different brands before I found one that worked and it happens to be the radio shack one. Take the disk it came with and install the drivers before you connect the cable. Once installed restart comp and connect the cable and it's that simple. The cable is around $30 and is worth 100 times that because they are the only onces that got it right.
RE: Re: Windows Vista SUCK
ones not onces. sorry, I hooked on phonics
RE: Re: Windows Vista SUCK
make sure before you install the drivers that came with the RADIO SHACK cable that you remove the drivers for all the "cables" that you have already tried. Once you do that install from radio shack disk, restart, and plug in. DONT FORGET TO CHECK WHAT PORT # the cable is plugged into and its baud rate. You have to have these set up to match the ones ion your pred or it will not connect.
