So many i2 software issues! Why??

How come there are so many issues with the i2. What is the problem?

The i2 is a rather trouble free device, I'm not sure what you mean.

before you reply, try to remember that for every person you see here saying they have a problem, there are 25-30 units in the field working well

does the i2 appear 2x in the device manager?
if so, delete/remove one, and then reboot the tool, driver should load from there.

I have been uninstalling and reinstalling for 4 days. I was looking on the CMR download section to see of you had drivers there I could load directly.

the drive ris on the downloads page, but it installs itself as well.

Problem is if you had the old i-1000 driver on the pc sometimes it tries to use that, so do you see it 2x in device manager or just once?
what does it show up as?

It only appears once. The download is listed as cdc i2000 and it "fails" every time. I am uninstalling and trying the upload from online.

The most recent issue: It keeps downloading the update and updating my i2. Every time you open the updater it keep downloading the same Group update file i assume? Then you unplug your i2 and plug it back in and it will update. Then you open the updater again and it does it all over again and again and again!
