I have had an inTune for a number of years now on my 09 Silverado with a custom tune by Lew. This last weekend, my truck was broken into and they decided to grab the handheld tuner from my glove box. The truck is currently still tuned, and I've got another tuner that my sister isn't using. I think I can get Lew's parameters from my computer, but have I lost the ability to go back to stock since those stock parameters were on the tuner? Is there a situation where I would need that ability?

if you plug another intune in it will read the file out and ask you to send it to us.
if you have a copy of your old backups saved somewhere send that as well.
