2016 Jeep Wrangler
I have recently purchased and installed the Diablosport PCM. I have a Trinity and am trying to install tunes for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6L. When I go to pick my vehicle on the tuner the only vehicles available for 2016 are Chrysler, Dodge, and Ford. Should I be using one of these tunes?
Iv been searching the website and have not found anything helpful. Please Help.
Thanks,
John

Re: 2016 Jeep Wrangler
you can pick 15 Jeep or 16 Dodge, they will all take you to the same place as long as the tool is up to date.
Thanks

Re: 2016 Jeep Wrangler
Ok so I selected 2015 Jeep Wrangler 3.6L V6
I installed the Perf 91 Oct (I have been running 91 for about 4 fill ups). When the tune was complete I turned on my Jeep and it struggled to idle. There was no response in the gas peddle. I gave it about a min to work itself out, but no luck. I turned off the Jeep and turned it back on. Same issue. I turned off the jeep and re-installed my stock tune. I turned on my Jeep, it started up no problem.
I decided to try and install the Perf 87 Oct. Same issue, it struggled to idle and no response in the gas peddle. i reinstalled the stock tune and everything works fine again.
I installed the New PCM I bought from you guys last week and I updated my Trinity last Friday. Is there something more that I need to do. Please Help.
Thanks,
John

mikel,
I restored the tuner, loaded the update and attempted to load the 91 octane tune on my jeep. No luck. I resorted the tuner, loaded the 87 octane on the jeep no luck.
Same issues. The Jeep starts up, it hits about 800rpms and slowly decreases until its barely hanging on. No response when I give it gas.
Is it possible I did something wrong when I installed my PCM? I have been driving with it for about 1500 miles. I have a manual transmission, could that be causing issues?
Thanks,
John

Re: 2016 Jeep Wrangler
are there any codes when the tune is loaded?
Are you making any adjustments to the parameters?
Thanks

It starts and drives fine with your PCM. I have driven it about 1500 miles with your PCM no issue.
I am away training with the USMC and wont be with my jeep until the end of April. I will load the tune and post a copy of the last tine written from the tool here.
Are there instructions anywhere on how to do that? I have never done that before.
