modifying performance tunes

I installed the 91 performance tune and then the next day I decided to modify that tune with the quick adjusts and modify stock tune. I went to modify stock tune, which i assume is now the peformance tune , and changed the rev limiter and then I went to the quick adjusts and changed the shift firmness, and a few other things. Is this the correct way go about it?
