U-7165 & EGR/hard shift/update question

-Does the program you have coming out for the latest revision on the 7165 close the EGR cooler? in reading some posts on forums, i hear the SCT does, but im not sure about the predator?
roughly 75% of the time, if i am "generously" on the throttle from a dead stop, the truck will really slam into 2nd gear after reaching about 3500 on the tach. known problem with the 7160? or something i have to update to solve?
i was thinking of upgrading from the 7160, but im waiting for the new revision, but even then im still not sure with all the problems the 7165 is having with mine being flawless...

Well, there is no new revision for the u7160 at all.
That tool is out of memory, and the only way to update it is to take advantage of our $99 hardware update for that tool, which will turn it into a u7165.

You cannot "close" the egr cooler unless you install a blockoff plate in the up-pipe or just delete it. It cannot be done electronically.
