2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck Won't Start

My truck won't start after having issues with touchscreen after trying to apply 91 tune. Support on phone told me to disconnect the tuner and let it go to recovery mode so that it can flash the original tune back. The tuner goes into recovery and status goes to 99% and asks for me to turn key to off and then back on. I get an error "An error occurred while restoring original backup" and then another error "Tune writing failed, Please unplug tool or tap continue to reboot". Truck will not start and support seems to have given up on helping me. Anyone else have this issue and if so, how did you resolve?

Yes...I haven't received a reply since 2pm yesterday so was hoping someone had a similar issue that could help me out. My truck was towed to the dealership this morning and waiting on what the outcome will be. Will I be reimbursed for the tow and rental? The work done if not covered? Also, how to I proceed with returning the tuner?

I emailed you this morning. We would have issued a shipping label to pick it up and flash it here for free if the tool wold not do it.

I need my truck and wouldn't be able to wait a few days. I had to schedule everything last night for pickup since I had to be at work and take my kid to school and since I wasn't receiving any replies figured it was a lost cause. Contacting support when all this started, I was told that the support line and email server was down. The guy I spoke with tried to help the best he could. I would have liked to used this product and was hoping it was as good as some of the reviews I read. With this happening, I don't trust it.

PCM needs to be replaced. Can I return the tuner to you for refund or should I try to return to auto anything? Will I be reimbursed for the tow and rental?

Since you no longer want to respond, I will file a complaint with the Department of Consumer Services and have them mediate a resolution between us.

first of all your pcm doesn't need to be replaced. obviously you are being taken for a ride by the dealership by someone that has no clue what they are doing. second, it was already stated that you could have sent the pcm to us and we could have fixed the issue. it is not our policy to cover rentals any repairs as these are things that can be avoided by sending it in to us. to answer your question if you choose to return the tool it would be returned through the place you purchased it. these types of things certainly are not the norm. possibly something happened on your end. maybe the plug was bumped. or possibly the battery voltage might have fluctuated. hard telling but but the tool are pretty solid other than an occasional minor issue. i appologize for the delay in replies as mike is out for the day and doing his best to reply from home. i would suggest NOT paying the dealer to replace a pcm that does not need to be replaced and have us restore the computer and you continue using the tool that you paid for and enjoy the benefits of it. we will gladly overnight things to speed up the process.

Well the PCM was replaced and following the step instructions and troubleshooting steps provided where of no help. By saying your tool if very solid is a joke, read everything on your forum and other reviews from other sites. I will just eat the cost of the tow and rental as a lesson learned to not buy shitty products from shitty companies with shitty support.
