2015 Challenger 5.7L Manual Transmission WON'T START!!

Post by jcautious »

I received my PCM yesterday and installed it this morning. I followed the Diablosport YouTube video on how to do it to make sure I was doing it correctly. After it was all installed, I tried to start the car, but it just remained in the run position. I could not turn it off, I could not pop my trunk to get back to my battery, I could not do anything. It said to press the brake and start the car, but it is supposed to say "Press clutch and start vehicle."
So because I closed the trunk after I installed the new PCM and reconnected the battery, I could not get back to the battery to disconnect it. Fortunately, nothing was fried when I re-installed the factory PCM. My question is: Do I need to connect my i2 tuner and change any settings for my car to work? Or was I supposed to receive a PCM with parameters set for a manual transmission? I went back and looked at my invoice, and manual transmission was selected.
I tried to get support, but nobody is at work on the weekend. Please help. Thank you.

Thanks. I went to the Grand Canyon this week. I called while I was on the road back to Texas. I was on hold for 40 mins. and of course when I was next in line, while driving through the desert, my signal dropped.. Lol That was just before they closed. Haven't gotten a chance to call back yet.
