Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L CRD 2008

I just bought a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L CRD diesel.
It came with an extreme power puck, I assume a P1050 model. However I don't see any switch or dial that could be used to adjust the settings.
I don't believe the previous owner ever put this puck on this vehicle. He got it from his friend who had the same model jeep gc (same year also I am told)

Question: if I am missing a switch or dial can I get it off you guys? I really would just like something that improves fuel consumption and moderately increases power. Nothing super hot required. I do tow a 5,500 boat and trailer 1,000km per year.
