What are the problems with the 7165

Hey guys! I've had the 7165 since December '07. I have had NO increase in mileage. Also had a few transmission slips. I bought this on a recommendation from a buddy with the same truck. He LOVED his. He bought his 8 months before I bought mine.

Anyway, I am not a motor kind of guy. Don't even know what I should look for. Can you tell me what some of the problems are? What should I be looking for?

I feel like i I paid $325 for an increase in HP. I WANT better fuel mileage.

Please help....

Update your predator to the latest r20 software. Can you post what kind of fuel economy your getting stock vs with a tune?

I was getting around 12-13. I am getting the SAME with the Predator. I have it on the 100 HP. That's what my friend had his on. I also would need to know how to download the upgrades.

To tell you the truth, I wish there was a more noticable difference besides power. I don't care about the power.

Honestly, the 100hp tune is not your best bet for mileage increases.
The 60hp tune would be your best bet there...

I just recently purchased 2003 F250 2wd 6.0L and installed the predator U7165. I first installed the 100hp and got 20 mpg. I just switched it to the 65hp to see if I can see a difference. I haven't added any other upgrades. UPDATE: When I have it in 65hp mode, the shifting is not as smooth as when it was in the 100hp mode and only got 14 mpg. I added an Airaid air filter and now get 15 mpg. All of the driving is done within the city.
