What is the I2 tuner supposed to do, exactly?

Post by 6Banger »

So does the I2 just load one of three tunes? The only other parameters I can see to change is tire size, and gear ratio. I thought there was supposed to be something in there for throttle response, shift points, etc.
I have a 2015 charger with the 3.6. I have a cold air intake with true dual exhaust and Magnaflow straight through exhaust. I have the 93 tune installed right now, but 93 gas is not always available. Will the car run right on 91 gas? Is there a benefit to running the 93 over the 91?

after you select the tune, choose the option to modify parameters then you'll see all the end user adjustments.

The only parameters that it shows is tire size, gear ratio and the speed limiter. Am I missing something?

Modify parameters and quick adjust. These are the only other options I have found.

Ok, duh. I found them. Kicked up the throttle 10%. So if I have the 91 tune, then I mess with the parameters, is it basically the 91 tune + the changed parameter? How does raising the throttle affect the rest of the tune?

yes, the changes are applied to the tune you select, throttle boost just makes the throttle feel more responsive.
