Can tuning cause an oil leak?

Post by 4wheelingw/power »

All -

I've done some modifications on a few parameters for power with throttle, speed limiter off, DOD off, tire size and TOH.

I actually increase my power to the point my RPMs are around 6k when switching between gears.. I also notice my 0-60 is around 6.. I did a few off the line.. Then this evening - I notice a few oil spots on my concrete floor. I looked under the truck and notice a minor leak from my oil filter.

Can tunning caused my filter to losen or cack??

Thanks!! Felix
