Which tune is preferred

Post by Pztapper »

I just picked up a U7194 for my 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ and would like to know what tune you would suggest. I have a K&N cai and replaced the stock muffler with a Magnaflow performance muffler. Also cut off the resonator, replacing with straight piping. I installed the 87 tune and turned off the AFM as a start but was curious what you think.

its really up to you, but the best performance will come from the Diablo tune with premium fuel :)

the predator's are all dead and gone.. they were all discontinued 6+ years ago now.. it would be better to get an inTune or Trinity so that the transmission can be tuned as well.. tuning the transmission makes a big difference with being able to change how quick it shifts, shift firmness, shift points, torque management, etc..

you can always trade in that old predator to diablosport and they'll give you a $100 discount on buying a new inTune or Trinity from them... then you'd be able to tune the engine AND transmission...

I'm new to the tuning game so I don't want to screw with too much until I understand what and why to adjust. I will try the Diablo tune next with the AFM off. Thanks
