Frustrated with windows 10/ predator

I've been trying like hell for the past 4 days to get the diablosport predator to connect with my windows 10 and so far I get the same error message: No tool was found. I have googled a bunch of different solutions, downloaded all of them and nothing has worked.

I have an 06 mustang v6
my predator is version u7140 stang_05
version v.9r03
hardware: UNIV_REV2

when I bought the usb kit online, it didn't come with a cd, does that make any difference? Any and all suggestions are helpful
