EEC Read Failure - CMR Burner

Can't read EEC-V ECU
Gives me: "EEC Read Failure. Make sure EEC is plugged in"
Green light shows.

I upgraded to the 3050 buner software. My device Used to read EEC-V ECUs ok. Now doesn't.

Currently trying to read from LUY4 and LUY2 BoxCode ECUs.

Laptop identifies my CMR D3-FORD Chip Burner ok
I CAN read CMR chips that I've previously burned.

Using CMR Burner application Version 3050

Need KRDC3Z8 file since I can't read ECU.

Do you have the same powerpack connected to the burner as you would connected to the predator while trying to read an ecu?From my experiences you need power to the burner besides the mini USB.Hope that helps

Thanks for that. Yes, I have the powerpack and the USB cable connected. I found I have an intermittent comms problem with the ECU. Either the ECU connector is not clean or my CMR reader has some continuity problem at the board near connector. I was finally able to read after many tries. I'm ok for now.
