2015 Ford SHO Issues Throttle, Trans Shift, General Question

I recently purchased the Diablo Sport Tuner i2 i2020 so I am new to this forum. I would just like to share my experience with this device in a very long and complete detail. I will start with the vehicle back ground. I have a 2015 Ford Taurus SHO. I have 3,843 Miles on the car thus far and love it. I wanted a little bit more than what stock was offering so I did a few modifications. I have installed a Roush Cold Air Intake system and I installed a Corsa Cat back Exhaust system. The third piece that I have done is the Tune with the Diablo Sport Tuner which leads me to this post.
Prior purchasing the Diablo and actually using it I did a lot of research and was impressed with the performance gains, ability of the device, ease of the tool, and the reviews. When I first received the Diablo I connected it to my Mac Book and checked things out. I did the first software update successfully without any issues. It took about ten minutes to complete. During that update process though it was kinda strange that the i2 did not indicate the progress of the update nor did it give me any indication of the progress on the computer. I was kind of left hanging wondering what was going on. Then to my surprise the device finally reboot and remounted.
About two weeks later I was ready to actually tune my car. My exhaust was put on back order if your wondering why I waited so long. So prior to doing anything I once again connected the i2 to my Mac Book and ran the Update. After clicking “There is an update for your i2 and the file had transferred Click OK to apply and reboot the tool” the i2 would immediately unmount. After that well it nothing and happened. I let it sit back at the main screen for 1 Hour and still nothing. It did not do what it did the fist time I updated the i2. I was a little aggravated at that point and I unplugged it and tried again and waited for 45 minutes. As I read it may take up to or more than 30 minutes to completed depending on the file size. Still nothing... I unplugged it and yes it breaks my heart to say this... I connected it to a Windows laptop ( I am strictly a Linux guy) …. and went through the update process again. It had completed successfully at that time without any issues.
So after all of the updating issues I was able to connect it. I chose to go with the Easy Tune option because I did not want to start messing with parameters that I was knowledgeable enough to mess with. The process was very simple and easy to do. I chose the 93 Octane Tune as that is what I always run in my car. The only other option that I chose to adjust was to eliminate the Speed Limiter. I followed the instructions as they appeared on the screen with no issues. During this process I noticed a few things that are normal such as the dash turning on and off, my Anti Collision Avoidance Lights were flashing, the heat/air blower motor was turning on and off, my LCD Display went blank, and then I noticed that the Ford Sync System displayed on the LCD screen that it was gathering System Diagnostics and sending them to Ford. Once that message and gray progress bar finished..... I was a little bit concerned. I hope Ford does not know I tuned my car but I guess that's my problem.
Now fully complete I am ready start the car and give a grandma style test drive. At this point I noticed that the car was idling a little bit high. I let it run at idle for about 5 minutes then put it in reverse and backed out of the driveway. Ready Set Go … Nope. I lost complete Throttle response and went no where. At this point I remember during my research that I came across a few posts on this forum and they had experienced the same results and I knew what to do to get around this. I had to coast the car back into the driveway and connect the i2 again. This time going through the Advanced Mode and selecting Adjust Parameters. By doing this I was able to set the Speed Limiter option to Off.
I had really hoped that by this time and after reading the posts that this software bug would have been fixed. But I was wrong. So I continued to go through all the available Advanced Options to see what the i2 fully offered. Now I did not choice to change or adjust any other options with the exception of the Speed Limiter. After the second attempt to tune my car doing this procedure it was successful. I had regained the Drive by Wire Throttle and proceeded to test things out. During the test drive I drove it very cautiously and felt comfortable. So I decided it was time to get on it a few times. While doing about 30 mph I hit the gas at WOT and I noticed two out of about 6 times the transmission was not happy. I encountered some serious Trans Sputter two times. The car acted as if under WOT it did not know how to shift and it felt and sounded as if the car temporarily for a second or two decided to stop delivering fuel. The car seemed to not shift very well at all. Now from a dead stop and immediate WOT the car performed awesome and it got up and went. I was very impressed at the performance gain there.
Now day two of driving the car both normal and like an ass I have not had the Trans Sputter happen again like I was explaining. That is good. Not sure what that was about though. I have noticed that under heavy acceleration there are some times when the shifting kinda lags. I am not really happy with that but it is not consistent either. I have had no other issues, complaints, or complications thus far.
Over all I am still very much impressed with the i2 Tuner. I still have some questions though. I would like to know a little more about what the Diablo 93 Octane Tune really does if those answers are available to me. I would also like to know if the Stock 93 Octane Tune is ok with the other two modifications that I have done to my car. Or is there a way I can request or should request having a slightly personalized 93 Octane Tune configured for the exhaust and cold air intake? Here is a little info on the Tune:

All right.... I guess my first post is just to long.

1. Can I get a Modified Diablo 93 Octane Tune to compensate for a Cat Back Exhaust and Cold Air Intake?

2. It seems that there is an inconsistent and unpredictable lag in shifting that occurs sometimes only after a down shift then while trying to shift backup to the next higher gear is when it happens. But this does not happen consistently.

3. I see there is a section regarding i2 Update issues. I will redirect any further issues I have there.

I have downloaded the file and copied it to the tunes folder on my i2.
I would like to know what you have adjusted with this tune so I can look for the changes while driving and provide accurate feed back.
I will apply this tune as soon as I get a chance to do it.

You have to copy the file to the main folder of the i2 not the tunes folder. Otherwise it will not show up under custom tunes.

Basically I adjusted the converter lockup, shift pressures and time.
