i2 updater won't open on Mac

Just received my i2 and trying to update it.

My Mac sees the drive and I can open the Updater folder and click on the icon, but the Updater doesn't open.

It pops up in the dock for a split second, then disappears.

Please help?

An update -

Upgrading to Java RE 8 allowed me to open the installer.

It still behaved oddly, but the Diablo Sport folks were helpful with getting me what I needed to update the i2 via email after I emailed their support address.

Got the 91 Octane CAI tune installed on my 2006 Magnum SRT8 and it's a lot of fun.

should be the same fix, update Java.
