New truck

I traded in my 07 vortecmax 2GTEK13Y271654374 for an 07 5.3L sierra flexfuel vin 2GTEC130471734010 ( to get better gas milleage). My question is, will I be able to use the same predator part # U7194, on my new truck, and, is there an unlock code I can get for it to work with the new vin# or do I need to send it in to get it unlocked?

To unlock the tool you MUST restore the stock tune back to the truck it was/is married to.
This is the only option.

The same U7194 will work in both trucks assuming the tool is properly unlocked.

Thanks for the quick reply, but what if I have no acces to that truck anymore? I traded it in without restoring the stock tune to it and i dont think the dealer has it on the lot anymore. Is there anything else I can do?

That was a bad move, unfortunately.
The only way to unlock the tool is to restore the backup to the truck.
