hi,

few months ago I installed the standard GM tune (gm_tunes-1r02s.itf) but the tune shifpoints are set much too high (3>4 at 8499 rpm!).. I actually broke 2 pushrods due to this when test driving when it shot true the redline..

now, I have been trying multiple times to adjust the shiftpoint parameters in the 'adjustable parameters menu' .. but it does not seem to correct / adjust it when uploading the new settings. If I connect the INTUNE the next time again, it shows the lower shiftpoints but the car does not follow and keeps on redlining at each gear.

I would need some advise here what to do.

the preset tunes do not change shift points at all.. shift points are all stock in the preset tunes..

the only thing the preset tcm tune changes is shift pressure and how quick it shifts..

thanks for the info; but that is even more strange.. since after the install it was changed, I did not do any manual changes to this besides installing the standard tune..

but the question remains: why doesn't it install my lowered adjustments as I've tried few times now.

in the meantime, I have installed the original backup file, and reinstalled the diablo tune which gave the following (new) shiftpoints 1>2 5500 2>3 5500 3>4> 8191 (?) ..

so I went into adjustable parameters again and adjusted them to 4200/4200/4500 .. but after test driving, it still has no limit and goes easy 6+++ in all gears..
