Registration Issue - First Time Use

My I-1000 is saying at my car (08 Chrysler 300) that I need an update. When I follow the instructions on the forum and try to update it is now saying I cannot update with out registering the device which I have twice online. This morning I woke up and it was saying is has detected a calibration from an unknown vehicle and will reboot while still connected to my mac. Please advise thank you
