Trinity C7 Corvette Z06

Hello, just got my Trinity ready to go - installed the performance tune to my 2016 Corvette C7 Z06 (LT4 engine) and all was smooth. Backup, load new program, and all was good. When I started the car and placed into reverse my rear facing camera does not work; both forward cameras are fine.

Have you heard of this before?

update: After 2 more cycles of the ignition after the 2 installing the tune the rear camera works.... The Tune I installed was the Diablo C7 for the Z06 engine Automatic transmition.

Took it out for a test ride this morning only to find serious issues and had to restore to factory settings to use the car. "IF" the latest C7 Z06 tune has other issues as I've read can we get the previous release?

List of my issues: threw many error codes and thought I could read them after restoring - doesn't work like that I learned. The one I remember is P0700 error, one of 6-10 errors.

Symptoms using C7 Corvette latest tune - Automatic LT4
- rear camera not working until a few times after the full successful install
- In all 4 driving modes in Automatic "D" stuck in first gear
- In "track" mode and "M"annual the shifting seemed to work for a few seconds. In third gear the computer threw it into 1st gear at 45 mph..... NOT safe.
- In the other sport, Eco, and Tour in "M"annual mode - STUCK in 4th gear. No way to change gears at all. Although showed 4th gear the RPM/sound/feel tells me it was stuck in 1st...

- When you approach the car the FOB is detected and it violently clicks no stop until started. That was my first sign something was wrong.

When I purchased the Trinity Thursday it showed fully compatible with my C7 Z06 2016 vette. When installing the tune it did have a year range ending in 2015.... I believe 2015 and 2016 are the exact same engine and transmission, but it appears if this latest tune is not the cause we have a compatibility issue here.

Anyone else have these types of symptoms or problems? The restore went quick and simple enough.

Before I return this I'd like to understand what the real issue is.

Hi Mike, let me say your Tech support is world class. Anthony had so much knowledge about my car in 2 mins or less he had it nailed. Something about the transmission part of the tune with the touchmatic (Automatic) that can't be communicated with. It was such a simple fix I hung up and changed the transmission type to manual and installed the tune.

Took it on a test drive and let me tell you the 650hp/650 torque was great. I added a cold air ram getting it to 680'ish before the tune. What a machine it was before the tune. AFTER the tune you have created a monster. The car responses what I thought was perfect is now incredible. The shift points, feel, responsiveness is just amazing.

Your Trinity device I have a lot to learn but knowing I can see all the Diag codes, solid backup of the factory settings, and the ability to put one of your tunes on the car to truly transform it. Absolutely a transformation that creates ear to ear smiles.

Thank you and Anthony again along with another gentlemen I quickly spoke with regarding run mode vs aux mode... I guess the manual for the car I should have checked.

In two 2 min phone calls we went from things that didn't work to understanding so much more and a perfect experience.

You have a great product backed by some exceptional people on support.

It is the May 2016 tune I used with the aFe sir intake combined. Scheduled to Dyno it next week to see what it produces. I'll post results.

Im buying my 2nd Diablo for my 2nd C7 Z06. Ordering today. Did you get your Dyno numbers? And your correct the support is awesome top notch.

I added the Afe air flow at the same time as the tune. I dyno'ed out at 724 HP, 715 Torque at the wheels with both.

I upgrade the air intake with an estimated 35-40HP of the gains and the tune the balance. Depending on so many factors the tune can/will deliver different results based on Temp/Altitude/Humidly levels, let alone other variables maybe isolated to how it was run on the Dyno. In this area I'm just a spectator watching the rather experienced tech do his thing.
