O/D Cancel button to prevent 5th AND 6th Gear?

I have a 2012 mustang v6 automatic. I am using trinity mostly to up the rpm on shifts and increase the shift firmness, which works great. What I really want is a way to have the overdrive cancel button prevent the car from shifting into gears 5 and 6. Presently, ford has the o/d cancel button do descent control and it prevents gear 6. With a 6 speed gearbox, that doesn't help much. I really want it to not go into the top 2 gears. So, the descent control is nice, its sort of like downshifting. Being able to hit that button and get right into 4th would be a big deal for my highway driving. It would also give me near direct control of the bottom 4 gears. I already manually shift into 3-2-1 a lot.

Is this possible through a tune or is that beyond the capability of this product?

what you are describing is definitely something that can be done but you will need a custom tune in order to achieve your goal. its not something the tool can do by itself alone. i would suggest contacting one of our dealers to get you a custom tune and they should be able to help you out.
