93 tune rich run 3-4k

Is it comon for the 93 tune to run the car a bit rich (10.4) ?

Ive searched all over and it seems the tune runs cars lean.

After 4k itll go up to about 11.1 .

Im just curious because my searches all come up that the tune runs your car lean.

My mods are

3tip and map
3in mpx exhaust
Bfic
No boost leaks
Aem wb

Ive leaned it out about 4% from 3-4k Im datalogging and see no knock either. Just curious.

well, you are using a custom tune, not the canned tunes, correct?

Thats something the tuner should address for you.

whered you get "custom tune" from?.. I didnt mention anything about a tuner. Its the canned 93 tune

well, thats your problem, the 3 bar MAP/TIP require a customtune, you cant run them on the stock tune or the provided performance tunes.

Im assuming you are talking about the rescale. Which i got the rescale done. Along with the cot shut off

So ur saying the rescaled tune im running is not the 93 tune?

yes, a custom tune is not the canned 93 tune.
The rescales are meant to get the car running safely, you need to custom tune it to dial it in.
