No it will not hurt your motor, the predator adds timing, the puck does not.

It's the trans you will need to worry about.......

You do need to watch your boost because you can overspool the stock turbo with that setup and you may get an overboost code if you do....

^^what he said.
Took the 07 truck up to 120mph last night, and key counts are not zeroed out anymore. :)
Hopefully i will have something up today.

Hey Johan,

It's great that your addressing the "detectable" factor of the predator by not zeroing key counts. However, are you also looking at other key parameters such as fuel used.

My 2006 also suffers from a very rough idle, as I've mentioned here in the past, but I don't have my CALID as I quit using my Predator long ago as the erratic idle can't be good for my truck. The truck feels like it needs new spark plugs, if it had any to replace, when I have the Predator installed.

Thanks!

johan,
are you fixing the key count issue on all predators? i have the 7130 and would like that issue resolved for mine as well. thanks.

I will check that out too while we are at it.
It appears that everyone with idle issues have 06's, i am going to try to get one of those in here as well.

THE TRANS WON'T BE A PROBLEM, I ALREADY HAVE INSTALLED THE ATS FULL BILLIT TRANS WITH FIVE STAR CONVERTER. IF THE PUCK DOES NOT ADD TIMING THEN WHAT DOES IT DO JUST ADD FUEL PRESSURE AND DURATIION. IF THAT IS THE CASE I DON'T HAVE TO RUN THE STACKER TUNES IF I DON'T WANT TO AND I CAN STILL RUN THE PUCK, OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING.

You will most likely get a low rail pressure code if you run the puck with a non-stack tune.

The Puck is pressure only. Not even boost fooling. The Predator does not boost fool either BTW.

Lots of guys are running the Non-stack tunes (which add pressure) and the Puck for a little more pressure.

from what i was told by the techs and by other people that have the stack the puck was timing and duration. the tow and performance tunes were timing and duration, but the extreme was timing, duration and added pressure. this is what i was told when i bought mine a year or so ago.

I think someone told you wrong. It is pressure only. Now the Predator on the other hand, they won't tell us exactly how it makes the power but I think it's a combo of all three. I was actually going to reluctantly sell mine but if Johan has fixed the keycount issue I may keep it. The power is just plain awesome.....

i have to agree with you there, the power is awesome. the key counts don't bother me too much cuz my dealer knows i have it in there. its the fact that it was advertised as undetectable and it is definately detectable. i'll be able to tell in the upcoming months what does what. i'll have my fuel pressure gauges in for lift and rail pressure so i'll be able to tell which does pressure and which does timimg.
