This predator has OEM SELECT. Go to Options/ Troubleshooting/ OEM Select. You will have multiple OEM accounts to select from. C&L, Steeda, ect. Please choose C&L logo and then go back to the main menu. Go through Performance Menu and select the C&L Racer tune.

I have a Volant CAI (with chip that splices into the MAF harness). GT 05 Manual

Is there a way I can tune the car and set the MAF straight without using the chip that came with the Volant CAI? and without having to take it to a professional tuner? They said I would need to take it in so they can tune it properly for the setup I'm running. I'd like the ease of use with the normal tunes from the tuner.

I will also have new shorty heads and Cat-back mid muffler setup from Pypes shortly.

Thanks, Dave

With the CAI alone, you can modify the mass air table by adding 5-10% to the maf curve. If you add the shorty headers, you might benefit from a custom tune.
No, i don't work here.

Is there a chart or something somewhere that can tell me the MAF Table adjustments in relation to the cross-sectonal area or whatever else to make everything happy? I could easily measure the area.

Flowrate = Density * Cross-sectional area * Velocity

Thanks for the quick response :D

Well, generally, the aftermarket CAI/maf senor housing is 5-10% larger in diameter than the factory piping. So by putting the factory MAF sensor into the larger piping, there is 5-10% more air going in to the motor that is not being accounted for. So by adding that additional 5% to the maf curve, you are telling the computer that the vehicle is receiving 5% more air than what the maf is reading at all times.

Adjusting my tables can be in addition to the three stock tunes, correct? Or does this need to be a completely custom tune?

If that doesn't make sense> Can I select a tune and modify that one thing within the tune file?
